SHE's walked in some of the fashion world's biggest shows, and
Marc Jacobs even named his best-selling Stam bag after her - but
one of model Jessica
Stam's fashion highlights is still a shoot for British
Vogue with Jason Schmidt and Charlotte Stockdale in
2005.

"We travelled to Alaska on a cruise ship for eight days and we
got off in each small town along the way and took a helicopter to
the top of a glacier," she told us. "It has to be the most
adventurous shoot of my career thus far!"
Glaciers and Alaskan weather aside, with years of busy show
seasons under her belt, Stam has some fail-safe commandments for
surviving Fashion Week.
"Know that you don't have to go to every event and party," she
told us. "Pick up a good book so that you have something do in the
downtime between shows; and go shopping beforehand so that you have
a few new-season looks."
"Drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep," she advises.
But, for surviving the harsh make-up looks of the shows, her
routine is less simple. "I only use water in the morning and at
night I use a cleanser to get off all the make-up of the day. I
also try to fit in a facial once a month and make sure it has micro
dermabrasion to exfoliate."
