Trademark piece: “My key piece for autumn/winter 2011, is a hand crochet jacket – the surface densely worked in tumbles and loops of uncombed yarn and tassels of silk and
cashmere with a wonderful shearling collar.

What’s next for your brand? “I am currently working on an art installation comprising of over 28,000 pieces of Waterford Crystal at Château la Coste, Aix en Provence, France.”

Who are your design heroes? “Alexander Lee McQueen and Tadao Ando, the Japanese architect.”

What’s your favourite cultural hotspot in the capital? “The Tate Modern.”

In five years’ time I will be… “I hope to continue creating exciting work, showing my collections and working on a hotel project in Aix en Provence.”
