“This girl was a fashion student, & she oozed cool! Great colours.”

Becky Mirnateghi

I have an eye for things that are slightly peculiar. I see imaginative garments to be art; to me they are beautiful whereas to others they may seem grotesque. The photos I have provided were taken during my six month gap year in Japan. I volunteered at a hospital but also went exploring. During my time in Japan I was blown away by the fashion out there. I live near Brick Lane and I love seeing what people have put together. To spot a great look and take a photo of it for VOGUE.COM...Well, I can't think of anything I'd want to do more.

  • This girl was a fashion student, & she oozed cool! Great colours.
  • What a dude! His idea to put his finger up his nose - Rock'n'Roll.
  • The best shop assistant I'd ever seen....EVER! Prints galore.
  • Looks like your mum...if your mum came from the future!
  • Cartoons rule....Both Marina Diamandis and Katy Perry know it!
