Show Report

DONATELLA VERSACE put colour firmly in her man’s wardrobe for next summer – cerulean blues, raspberry reds – teamed with pink – and canary yellow all vied for attention on her menswear catwalk this evening.

There was a continuation in the week’s sporty themes in the varsity jackets – only this time they came punctuated with baroque swirls – and the texture we’ve spotted elsewhere, only here it was all about the accessories which adorned the jackets and trousers. We’re talking signature Versace bling buckles trailing shoulders and thighs.

Eighties bright colour clashes were shown off to full effect via boxy blazers, while vivid prints and swirling patterns swarmed onto jacket shoulders and lounge-y numbers or sheer shirts. The Versace man is definitely in for a satorial treat next summer – whether he likes it or not.
