WE'VE come to expect the avant-garde and the outrageous from Margiela (certainly when it comes to the womenswear offering), but today the house gave us something that entered into the altogether more wearable realms - and ran the gamut of blue shades, oversized styles, tuxedo riffs and a few cape-jacket hybrids along the way. It was cool in that not-caring way - the Margiela man doesn't necessarily know where he's turned up to but has managed to dress the part all the same, which makes him even cooler in our book.
