Show Report

MUCH like Lady Gaga at the moment, the D&G menswear show seemed to be enjoying a spot of vintage Gianni Versace today, with brightly coloured foulard prints appearing on shirts, scarves, shorts and trousers. Relaxed pyjama shapes, in trousers and jackets - already seen on the catwalks of Emporio Armani this week - reappeared in printed jewel hues, with the very D&G addition of denim waistbands providing a homemade streetwear edge. Gaga would be proud.

With the fate of the D&G label reportedly hanging in the balance, today's show reemphasised what a sad loss that would be - to men's as well as womenswear - whilst the label finds its youthful and humourous design voice more and more each season.
